i just came to a realization that sometimes Seto Kaiba deserves to get slapped. haha! *rushes over to hug him* okay, no. that's so harsh. but seriously, sometimes his smirks and condescending attitude calls for it. but hey, guess that's what makes Seto .. well, Seto. haha!
i wanna continue with my fanfic! i have an idea already forming in my head for the next chapter. muahaha. setoooooooooo! he is so .. uhh, everything in one? cute + pain in the ass + nice + honourable in some sense + a**hole (self-admitted in YGOTAS) + arrogant + confident + super super super rich. haha!
i don't feel like going to school at all. rawrs. but at least today i bought my Neo-Genesis mag! and sakito-kun!!! there are like 2 double-sided posters of him, and around 4-5 photoshots of him. kawaii desu! okay, shutting up.

and i have officially changed my blogskin! adieu my crazy, silly, occasionally dumb (except for tamaki) senpais from ouran high and konnichiwa takuya-kun and company from Uverworld! AwakEve is their new album, and since i chanced upon it on the net, why not use it? although currently i'm into VK (i am addicted to The GazettE now, and 12012. ruki and wataru. brothers in different bands. muahaha), i can't think of a better way than to honour the band that interested me a helluva lot into the world of J-rock. arigatou Uverworld! (and p/s - their new songs are so rockin'!)
other than that, Uverworld seemed appropriate cos their music isn't just into a particular type: it's a smorgasbord. much like my life itself, so it just seems so appropriate. hehe. i just realised that i haven't given out my blog add to any of my jc schoolmates yet, but heck. have you seen the links at the bottom of the page? i like the sense of small number yet cozy bunch of people. hehehe!
anw, the purpose of my update is to sum up my march hols. school is boring capisce, so i really have nothing to blog about. it's when it's the hols and i hang out with some of the people that i love the most that makes it a worthy blog entry.
on thursday, me and bestest bestie went out to celebrate our bday! hehe! sikit punya siang ehh. initially we thought of going to Cashbox, but because the place sikit punya accessible, we settled for KBox Cineleisure. hehe! and of course, what else do you expect from these 2 divas when we were appropriately given room no. 19? we sang and uhh.. danced. haha! okay, we sang - a lot. we danced - a bit. we searched for songs in the tracklist - a very very very very long time.
so in the midst of it, we had our cake-cutting session! okay, lesson for all those aspiring divas out there. if you want to bring a cake and cut it during your concert, please bring a knife. don't be like us - use straw. tak glamour terus. and there was another tak glamour terus moment right outside taka. don't ask lah ehh what we did with the cake.
but the cake is pretty okay! it even has our age (7) on it! thank you umai's friend!
and because we are divas lah kan, so we also need to act like diva even when we eat. muahaha!
amaciam? happening gitu!
hehe. and if you're wondering why the heck some of those tag words are in red, it's all because of Gema Puisi Artistik at NYJC yesterday! it was so much fun - minus the entire Riverside Sec vs Pasir Ris Sec cheering/jeering/shouting competition which me, umai, herniati and farhanah were right smack in the middle of. Pasir Ris Sec won, and deservedly so. to be honest, i was torn between PRSS and TKSS because both were great in the way the delivered their contents. PRSS was dynamic, but TKSS was kinda cute. there's this one scene where i absolutely adored: "kring, kring. hello? siapa nak jadi hero?" anw, kudos to all the winners! and i am so hyped up to go again next year! and of course lah, ada certain people on stage also kan umai kan? hehehe. i know you know we know who lah kan.
and apa seyy tulang. tomorrow boring boring school starts. shikasima.

nevermind the fact that it was my sweet 17 yesterday (yes, okay. happy birthday to me! but still a long way to go before i'm of voting age i.e. able to get a driving license). i'm actually more interested in how the world is developing in this age of turbulent economy and uncertain financial progress. Singapore had just recently declared that it will be facing a projected of more or less 8.5% decline in Q4, with slow growth in 2010. and more undergrads are being laid off. on hindsight, this isn't exactly the best scenario that we want to hear. well, the IMF did say that this global recession will last till 2011, so don't expect things to be a bed of roses.
i just read something interesting on Economist.com. apparently, hotel rates per night are going down. tokyo's is slightly lower than US$300, while Abu Dhabi and Moscow remains pretty expensive at US$400. still, the general trend here is that most countries' hotel rates decreased by 20%. so is this a sign that we should spend on the tourism industry i.e. go for more holidays? if that's the case, then hey, let's!
i always felt that the key to overcoming a recession is for society to spend. as long as money is circulated and put to good use, the economy should still be running. besides, that's how profits are made, no? with more profits, shouldn't a country be able to at least hold out the economic crisis? of course, the opportunity cost on the consumers will be high, but if it's for the society's benefit, doesn't that make this matter substantial?
okayy, i shall stop plaguing this website with economics matters. but seriously, i can't help but wonder.
anw, back to my personal life. first of all, my birthday celebration yesterday! went to pastamania with my family, and let me just say that while the food is satisfactory, i'd like to go for a better italian restaurant. but overall, food is quite okay, so i'd go there again for the pizza and pasta. what else? oh yes! i went shopping! bought Body Shop's new fragrance, Japanese Cherry Blossom (hinthint on what my current craze is on now) and Maybelline's cream-gel eyeliner (Japan-release) and Bourjois's eyeshadow pot. hehehe! can't wait to try them out!
and AHEM. my current craze is Japanese stuffs! or to be more precise, Jrock/Visual Kei. especially Visual Kei. i am so tempted to try out their makeup styles. if they look hot on those VK band members, why shouldn't it work for me, right? and i'm trying to incorporate Jfashion into my wardrobe - to no avail. i have no sense of kawaii-ness, unfortunately. so maybe that's why i shifted to VK? muahaha. anw anw anw, my new VK love is ayabie!! BUT naitomea shall remain the number one in my heart. hehehe! sakito-kunnn!!
i plan to change my blogskin, but let's just see if it'll work out, ehh?
